Thanks for taking the time to write in.

You can use the 1Password extension in Chrome, but 1Password cannot launch Chrome when you click on links. You can read about using the extension here:

Use the 1Password extension to fill in Safari and apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Once you have enabled the extension in Safari it will show up in Chrome as well.
