Coordinate Cards

Hi everybody,
Many banks use coordinate cards, and I'm sure that many people have a photo of this card on theirs phones. I have reading on posts, that 1password iOS version doesn't have the ability to store a photo from the roll.

Do not think it would be a good idea to incorporate in upcoming releases?

Thanks for your attention,
happy new year.

  • Hi @malacate,

Thanks for taking the time to write in.

I'm not familiar with the concept of a coordinate card. I did some Googling but I didn't find anything. Could you please elaborate on what this would look like and what banks you're aware of that use it?

Also 1Password.com subscription accounts do have the ability to add photo attachments from the camera roll as Document items. Standalone vaults do not have this capability.

    Thanks.

    Hi Ben,
coordinate card, maybe you know likes security card, is a card with rows and colums that many banks use to allow certain transactions to take place. The bank asks you the number of a coordinate, like the sea battle kids game, and you may input the number of the card for example F- 4 -> 05, and you input 05

  • I see. Thanks. Yes, this kind of image could be stored via 1Password for iOS as a Document in a 1Password.com account. It could also be stored via 1Password for Mac or 1Password for Windows, if using the standalone products, and viewed on 1Password for iOS if the Pro features have been purchased.

I hope that helps. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.

Ben, 1Password.com account requires a cost, I use 1password only on my iPhone, so it is not a good solution for me. I have 1Password Pro and I would like, if it's possible, to be included in a next review because like I said, I don't need the web account solution.

It's occurs to me that it could be to add a new section, limited image type, on someone category.

    Thanks,
    Jose

    Thanks for the feedback. :)

We appreciate the suggestion. Unfortunately I can't make any promises about future improvements but it is certainly something we'll take into consideration.
