auto fill not working with british airways website
Hi
for the longest time auto fill has never worked with british airways wesbite. I have tried both 1password mini and 1password X.
Please can you work on this in the next version or beta

Hello @gregg12,
I just created a test Login item using the steps outlined on our page How to save a Login manually in your browser and found that 1Password filled the username and password fields for me. I was testing https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/home#/ but I suspect that depending on where you are you may see a slightly different page. Can you try creating a new Login item using the steps in the above link please and see if you still find 1Password isn't filling the fields properly. If it isn't can you tells us more about your setup please including:
- Your operating system i.e. Mac or Windows.
- What version of 1Password you have.
- What your preferred browser is.
- The exact URL in case there are subtle differences.
That will help me test under a more similar setup to see if I can spot anything that might alter the outcome.

Hello @gregg12,
So I haven't tested with the 1Password X extension, my area of focus is currently the native application extension (the one most people are more familiar with). I tried this alternate URL but after manually saving a Login item I found it filled both fields. I also stumbled upon a slightly different login page but still for South Africa which is located at https://www.britishairways.com/travel/loginr/public/en_za I tried saving a new Login item and filling this page and it too filled both fields.
Chrome has the ability to add multiple user profiles ) Share Chrome with others or add a profile). Could you add a new profile please and install the native application extension which can be found at 1Password Browser Extensions. Do you find that using this extension and manually saving a Login item on either of those pages still isn't filling the same page?

Hi @gregg12,
That's one of the two locale specific pages I tested. The other one, https://www.britishairways.com/travel/loginr/public/en_za is more of a dedicated page that doesn't have all the fields associated with flight queries. As I said earlier, after saving Login items on either page using the steps outlined on our page How to save a Login manually in your browser I found that each Login item would correctly fill both fields for the page it was saved on.
Please ignore any existing Login item you have for British Airways and try saving an entirely new one using the steps outlined on How to save a Login manually in your browser. I would personally recommend the https://www.britishairways.com/travel/loginr/public/en_za page and using open and fill but I found 1Password reliably fills that homepage as well. As I can only talk about the behaviour with the native application extension I would ask you perform the saving with that extension so that our testing environments are as close to each other as possible.
