Multi-website entry matching for all sites (yay) but changes URL to first listed website
I have a 1password entry, call it "hosts". It has 9 websites listed:
https://host1
https://host2
https://host3
https://host4
etc
When I use Chrome and go to https://host4 1password mini shows me the "hosts" entry for autofill. (Thank you for that v7 enhancement.)
Unfortunately when I click on it the URL in the browser gets changed to https://host1 and then it logs me in to the wrong host.
I'm using the long list of different hosts under one entry as a suggested work-around for no domain-wide matching for .local or .corp.
Any suggestions on how to get 1password mini to just fill the open website rather than taking me to the "primary" website?

@GregKet1: I've merged your duplicate posts into the Windows category since that's the version involved here. In the future, please don't post in multiple places, as that slows down response times for everyone -- including you.
The new Windows app does not yet display URLs in 1Password mini, so it will always use the default. In a future update we'll be refreshing the design so it exposes this and other information, so it will be possible to specifically select the URL you want to use right in the browser. For now, you can click the URL you want in the item details in the main 1Password app window. I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)

We have over 100 devices that all use the same login information that requires password changing every 2 months. This was Agilebits’ recommended solution to needing a single login for many devices, and it doesn’t work.
What is a functional way of handling this?

Actually, this seems like a bug. Mini successfully matches the login entry for the Window/URL open. It should just fill that window, not open a different site.

@GregKet1: If your comments are literal (e.g.
https://host1
is a URL you have saved in the login), then you're definitely going to run into two different limitations of the current design:- (As mentioned above) 1Password mini in version 7.0 for Windows does not expose multiple URLs; it matches them, but...
- "host1" (full stop) is not a domain name, and therefore cannot share one with "host2", etc. for 1Password to fill there right off the bat. We're using Mozilla's public suffix list for domain matching. So what's happening when you select the login at one, 1Password is seeing that it does not match the (nonexistent) domain and opens it in a new tab.
Both of these are things we'll be able to better accommodate with future updates, but for now you'll should be able to open the URL you want from the item details in the main 1Password window. Does that help? :)
As an aside, since it would offer more granular security, maybe using a long, strong, unique random password for each device could help you avoid having to change passwords every two weeks. Obviously it depends on the context, but just a thought.

It is a Microsoft Active Directory domain login so unique passwords are not an option.
What is making no sense to me is this: in v6 and before 1password would not recognize host5(full stop) at all so would never give me an entry in mini for filling. No v7 mini recognized host5(full stop) AND accepts many "websites" in a single entry BUT rather than filling for the web page with the website that it successfully matched, it overwrites the URL that is on that browser page with a different URL and then fills that. What bug is keeping it from simply filling the web page that it has already matched on the browser tab that it matched it on?
The behavior you describe above goes counter to your own comment here: https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/comment/377338/#Comment_377338
where you say "You can edit the item to add multiple URLs. 1Password will offer to fill the login at any matching URL you have saved for it. Cheers! "
This is NOT working in v7. In v7 it will always take you to the first website in the 1Password entry even if it matched on the fifth website entry.

@GregKet1: Going back to my original reply, I said,
The new Windows app does not yet display URLs in 1Password mini, so it will always use the default. [...] For now, you can click the URL you want in the item details in the main 1Password app window.
And that is certainly the case here. Can you try that? It doesn't sound like you have, but are just selecting the login in mini, where, again, there are no URLs shown at all.
Multiple URLs can definitely be added to logins in the main app, and used from there, as I suggested. I make extensive use of this. Here's a really ugly example where I have these saved for testing with Citibank:
Clicking any one of those URLs opens that exact URL in the browser. Is something different happening for you?

As of 1Password 7.2.581 and the Chrome extension 4.7.390 this is working as I hoped it would. If I go to any of the sites listed in a single entry in 1Password, the Chrome extension will fill the password for the site I am on, no longer redirecting me to the primary website.
Thank you Very much!!
