If you click the 'x' and dismiss it does it re appear as you switch pages?

Yep, it does.

I have visited signin.aws.amazon.com but after dismissing the prompt it doesn't seem to return on my end.

I don't know if you're testing the same thing I am, but I'm talking about IAM Role switching at https://signin.aws.amazon.com/switchrole rather than just logging into AWS.

Can you provide me with the steps to try to recreate the behaviour and a link to the page you are seeing it on?

I'm afraid not, sorry! Since I clicked "save" and it failed, it happens far less often than it used to. I'll make a note to share the next time I see it.

are you running into the failed to save issue on any other sites or was it just this one occasion?

Nope, only in AWS -- that's it.
