This behavior happens on more than a few websites, but the one that I notice is most is on schedulicity.com. More specifically, when I try to book my barber, if you want to recreate my experience - h...

I'm sorry that you're running into trouble when filling a login into your barber's scheduling tool. I can reproduce the same issue on my own iPhone when using iOS AutoFill (the prompt above the keyboard). I can see how the current behaviour is not ideal for the websites you're having trouble with. AutoFill is specifically handled by iOS so 1Password is unable to control which fields get filled when you tap on an item since 1Password only provides the data for the experience. I suggest reporting this issue to the developer of that website so that they can investigate why their website isn't working properly with iOS AutoFill.
That being said, our browser extension for Safari on iOS seems to be able to fill just fine into that website and I recommend giving that a try. 1Password for Safari features greatly improved filling capabilities and offers an experience that is similar to what you're already used to with 1Password for the browser on the desktop.
Here is a guide on how to enable 1Password for Safari for your iPhone or iPad: Get to know 1Password for Safari on your iPhone or iPad
Then you can fill your login by tapping on the email address field and tapping on the suggestion that appears below the field (not above your keyboard). Let me know if you you run into any issues. 🙂
