New iPhone, no Authenticator access on 1Password website

Access to the 1Password app on my iPhone and iMac works still fine, but after I transferred all data from my previous iPhone to the iPhone 14 Pro, I realized that the Google Authenticator app still needs to be set up again. The old iPhone has already been wiped and I don't have Google Authenticator installed anywhere else.

Now, I can still access the 1Password app on the new iPhone and on the iMac, but wanted to update the 2FA settings in 1Password.com, which I can't access because it asks for the 2FA code :-)

Thanks! I'll try that as soon as I get home tonight.

    Hi there Brandis

Because you're already signed in on your Mac, you can turn off two-factor authentication for your 1Password account and set it up again. You're quite right that you won't be able to access 1Password.com to adjust your settings without the one-time password. Here's what to do:

    On your Mac:
    1. Open and unlock 1Password.
    2. Click the šŸ”½ down arrow on the account and collection chooser in the top-left corner.
    3. Choose Manage Accounts...
    4. Next to your account, click the ā‹® three-dot menu and click "Turn off two-factor authentication...", then the red Turn Off button.
    5. Turn on two-factor authentication for your 1Password account.

You'll be able to set up two-factor authentication for your 1Password account using Google Authenticator from there. Let me know how that goes. :)
