Using Keyboard Shortcut in Safari
In Safari/Settings/Extensions, current "1Password for Safari" is enabled, and "1Password (v7.9.11)" is listed but not enabled.

Using the Command-Backslash (\) autofill shortcut with the 1Password 7 desktop app will result in a message to activate the old 1Password Safari extension since it's packaged with 1Password 7. Since 1Password 7 is no longer supported, I'd recommend upgrading to 1Password 8:
The 1Password for Mac desktop app (version 8) will give you the option to continue using the Command-Backslash (\) keyboard shortcut to engage Universal Autofill to fill in your apps and browsers when using 1Password for Mac. If you're using the 1Password for Safari extension on its own, you can click the suggested login item when the extension is unlocked in your browser to autofill.
