Multi page login with 1pw 5

I'm new to 1pw...learning 1pw 5. From the discussions regarding previous versions, I am learning that a multi page login requires my accessing 1pw multiple times, clicking the needed info for each page. Am I correct that I must click in 1pw entries for each of these pages? Is there no way to arrange one login that will pass me through all the pages and complete the login with truly ONE click?

I'm a bit disappointed if that's the case.

@rettch‌ Depending on the site you may even need two login entries, one for each page. As the saying goes there's more than one way to skin a cat (I'm not sure why cats deserved this to be honest) and accommodating all the different approaches to logging a customer in can be tricky. If the two pages have unique URLs which you add the relevant one to each login then you can bypass clicking and use the keyboard shortcut ⌘\ instead. As long as a URL has a unique login item attached to it 1Password will submit that just one. If there multiple matches it will list them.

While it isn't quite one click as you were hoping for I think it can still be pretty streamlined. Does the suggestion of the keyboard shortcut help at all?

Here's a suggestion for an improvement to 1-Password. My wife and I both have accounts at the same financial institution, so 1-PW has two logins for that same URL. As it happens, it's a two-page login. I select "my" login from the list, but when I return to 1-PW to click it for the 2nd page psw, both logins are shown at the top of the page. Klutz that I am, I often click the wrong one. It would be nice if 1-PW were able to "remember" which of those two logins had been selected and display only that one. Not a deal-breaker by any means. Just a suggestion.

    Hi @desperotto‌

Thanks so much for the suggestion! For now, I would ensure that you select very unique names for your banking Logins - something akin to HIS bank and HERS bank ... but likely much more clever. Perhaps a ridiculous name would make it easier for you to pick the correct details for page 2. :)
