1P5 & VanCity Banking
Longtime 1P user here. Since the update to 1P5, the software no longer fills in my VanCity banking info at:
https://vancity.com/onlinebanking
I've trawled the Knowledgebase & threads on banking issues, and I've tried the various suggestions: manually creating a new login; creating a login in the browser just with the first field (branch) and then adding the second (account) in 1P; turning off autosubmit; trying the first field as a login and the second as password; and trying both fields as text.
I have checked the WebForm that 1P creates and it recognises "branch" and "acctnumber," stores the correct data, but fills in neither.
After submission, the second page of the login is the password itself, which I use a separate 1P login item for. It would be nice having this as one process but since 1Pv1 I've always had to do it in two steps — except that now, the first step no longer works (and hasn't for some time, I've just been too busy to care about it). The second step works just fine on its own.
It would be great to have support check this out & offer a working solution for VanCity. Thanks!
System details: 1P5.0.2 (Agile Web Store) / OS 10.10.1 / Chrome/Safari/FF (latest)

Hi @slackerbot,
I was able to create a working login for that site by saving a new login manually.
I was also able to create a single login item that worked correctly for both steps of the login process, by following our guide for multi-page logins:
Creating a multi-page Login
Could you please give that a try and let me know how it works?

Thanks @JasperP — I've got it working! I must've been doing something wrong —and I have no idea what, as heavens knows I've been using 1P long enough— as previously my attempts to create new logins all failed. I wish I had some tech reason for it (clearing browser cache or something) but it just seems to be working now. Hooray!
