V3 Family Pack - Can't find family upgrade for V5.
Hi,
I purchased 1Password 3 Family and am now being asked to upgrade. It's not giving me a family option in the upgrade area. How do I find this? And will I also need to upgrade my iPhone app?
Thanks,
Diana

1Password changed the license details so now a single license can be used for up to 6 family members.
Ref: https://agilebits.com/store/licenses
Our software is licensed per person and per platform, not per device. Each user and each platform requires a license. Licenses can be shared by up to six family members living in the same household.
The iPhone app would have been a separate purchase when you originally purchased it. So an upgrade to version 5 of the iPhone app would be free for the basic version, with a In app purchase to enable additional features like multiple vaults.
The app is also eligble for family sharing through the iTunes store.
The In app purchase is however not sharable, and must be purchased separately.
Edit: clarification

@thightower is very rarely wrong so I hesitate a little in pointing out that I family sharing does not extend to in-app purchases. This Apple KB article includes the following:
In-app purchases aren't shared with family members in Family Sharing.

Hey, @Stephen_C
Well I was and wasnt. ;)
I just put the 2 sentences together when they should have been separated and tweaked. Thanks for that observation. I should have been clearer. The app itself is eligible for family sharing NOT the in app purchase.
Ill edit my post above to fix that. Nice catch I should have been in bed when I wrote that one.
Sadly the In App purchase is not shareable.

ps, I do make mistakes so feel free to mention them. Just don't tell my wife I said that.
She already calls me the "Great and Powerful OZ", so I don't need to tarnish that image ROFL.
Seriously though, I do make them and feel free to fire away if you see one. I would rather you give the correct info vs me leading someone astray.

@thightower LOL, don't worry, we won't tell your wife, it'll be our little secret! ;)
@Diana Lauren Bernecker, hopefully your questions have been answered, but if you need anything else just let us know!
