OS X: Browser Code Signature Validation in Firefox Developer Edition

Whenever I try to use the browser extension in the current Firefox Developer Edition on Mac OS X 10.10, I receive the message that the browser code signature validation was not successful. No problem so far, I thought, and disabled the browser code signature validation in the 1Password settings.

Unfortunately, even after disabling it the error message still occurs every time and I'm not able to use the browser extension in any form in this browser. What can I do to solve this issue to use the browser extension of this awesome app? Any help would be appreciated!

There is a long thread about this and I suggest you start reading it here. You'll see references to it working with the current 1P 5.1 beta—but please see the warnings in that thread about running the beta if you're on the Mac App Store version of 1P5.

Thanks, I just searched for „Firefox Developer Edition“ and thus wasn't able to find this solution. Works like a charme for now with the beta build. :)
