After downloading 1password 5, autofill and save new logins stopped working

I've been running 1passsword 4 successfully for about a year, but recently downloaded version 5. Since then, the program is not running as I would expect. New logins do not save and there is no option available in the dropdown menu to save them manually, autofill has stopped working on all of my previously saved logins, and the option to have the password generator fill fields when setting up a new login or changing a password is not available.

I'm running a Macbook pro with Yosemite version 10.10.2 and Chrome version 40.0.2214.111.

Any suggestions as to how to make the program function as it's supposed to?

    Hi @chrisq,

    I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having. If you open the main 1Password 5 app from your Applications folder, does it have all the data from 1Password 4?

    If yes, can you tell me which version of 1Password extension is installed in Chrome? 1Password 5 uses the same extension as 1Password 4, there should not be any differences at all. To find out the version in Chrome, please do the following:

    1. Open Chrome, go to the Window Menu > Extensions
    2. Next to 1Password on the extensions list, should be its version number, can you tell me what it is?
