Sorting Logins

I noticed on another post that the logins were sorted by type such as Leisure, shopping, banking, etc.
How is this accomplished and can I do it with existing logins?

Maybe you were looking at the Tags section? You could add tags to your items such as Leisure, Shopping, or Banking and expand the Tags section in the sidebar.

Hi @Chick,

As MrC said, it sounds like you may have been reading about Tags, which you can add when editing an item in 1Password. Once you've created a tag by adding it to an item, it will appear in the sidebar. You easily add it to other items by dragging those items to that tag.

Thanks works like a champ! The only problem is I can't make drag & drop work, but I can just use the same tag name in edit.

Hi @Chick,

Glad to hear Tags are working out for you! Strange that you're unable to drag & drop items to existing tags, though. Are you using 1Password version 5.1 on your Mac? That's currently the latest, and drag & drop works well for me in that version. If you'd like further help with that, please let us know! :)

Drag and Drop occasionally breaks on Yosemite.

If you restart an app, it will start working again. In this case, hold down the Command key and use File -> Quit 1Password and 1Password mini. Worst case, you may have to restart OS X (next easiest step to describe).
