One Mac Doesn't stop syncing
I have 1Password 5.1 (510027) from the Mac App Store on two of my Macs, both running Yosemite 10.10.2. I am syncing through iCloud (iCloud Drive is on). My iOS devices sync just fine, but my Macbook Pro just says "Syncing...", and the wheel spins and spins. It's not receiving or sending changes to or from my iPhone or other Mac.
Where do I start to troubleshoot this?

Hi @brycem32,
Just to make sure I understand, it sounds like iCloud sync works correctly between your iOS devices and one Mac, and the problem is only happening on your MacBook Pro. Is that correct, or have I misunderstood?
If the problem is only happening on the MacBook Pro, try quitting the 1Password app on that Mac and relaunch it. Does that make any difference or does it still keep saying "Syncing..." without ever seeming to send/receive changes? If it's still a problem, try rebooting that Mac and see if that helps at all.
Let us know if it's still a problem, and we'll take it from there. Thanks!

Thanks, Drew. Your understanding is correct: only on the Macbook Pro, the syncing indicator just keeps spinning, and no data is shared.
I had already tried restarting 1Password, and rebooting the Macbook Pro. For good measure, I turned off iCloud syncing and turned it back on.
No joy: "syncing..." is still spinning.

Hi @brycem32,
The next step would be to get a Diagnostics Report from this Mac. This will give us access to log files that will likely give us an idea of what's going on. You can get us a diagnostics report by following the instructions on this page. Send the email to support+forums@agilebits.com. Include a link to this forum thread so that we can connect the dots. You should get back a ticket id from our email system. Feel free to post that onto this thread as well, as it will help us jump between the two system.
Looking forward to seeing what's in this diagnostics report.
Rick

@rickfillion Thanks. I'll hang on to these instructions for getting a diagnostic report. My Macbook Pro has spontaneously started syncing again. All is well. Would the diagnostics report still be useful to see what might have gone wrong, in case the problem returns?

@brycem32 : If the problem returns, get us a diagnostics report. No use chasing a problem that isn't a problem at the moment. We'll chase it if/when it comes back. :)
