Data just disappeared - what happened?

You really need to give us much more information before anyone can help.
Please tell us:
- What version of 1P you are using.
- Your OS X version number.
- Whether you sync your 1P data with any other device and, if so, what device and what version of 1P you are running on that device.
- Is it possible that you have more than one version of 1P on your Mac (for example, both that from the Mac App Store and a version downloaded direct from the AgileBits store)?
In addition, please explain exactly what you mean when you say:
Almost all of my passwords and account information has just disappeared.
How many items are missing? If you go to 1P > Preferences > Backup do you see a backup listed showing more items than you now see in your 1P data?

I'm sorry you're having some trouble with 1Password! Your data should never just suddenly disappear, so I suspect it's still there somewhere. As Stephen mentioned, one possibility is that you have more than one version of 1Password on your Mac and are opening the one that doesn't have all your data. We'll definitely need some more details, so please let us know the answers to Stephen's questions, and we should have a much better idea of how to proceed.
It will also be helpful if you can let us know where you're looking for your data - for example, are you opening the main 1Password app, or opening the 1Password extension in your browser or 1Password mini? If you go to the Applications folder on your Mac, do you see more than one 1Password app there? The more details about the problem you can give us, the better. Thanks!
