How can I easily change a category for an existing entry? i.e. from "Logins" to the new category "Em

I don't want to use the new categories. But don't want to add a new empty entry then fill in the existing data and finally deleting the old one. Is there a more convenient way?

    Hi @Reiniauge ,

At this time it is not possible to change an item's category. We've heard this feature request a lot, and we're considering how we could implement something like this ( it unfortunately requires a fair bit of re-organization to the database behind the scenes). In the meantime, if there are some items that you would like to move into a different category, I would suggest using mini's anchor feature to make it simple to copy and paste the details into a new entry. Like so:

    • Use ⌘⌥\ ( Command-Option- \ ) to open 1Password mini
    • Find the entry you wish to swap
    • View the item's details and click the Anchor icon in the bottom corner
    • Open the main app and create a new entry in the correct category
    • Click to copy the details from the item window that has been 'pinned' to your screen and paste into the main app

I know it's not a perfect solution, but I hope it helps!
