CleanMyMac2 unfortunately moved 1password 4 files
How can reinstall the app on mac to create the missing log but not affect password data? Or can I move the deleted/restored folders myself? One of the files is xxxxxx.om.agilebits.onepassword4-helper.log. The other is the data and watchlist folders themselves. The application seems to be working fine with the odd behavior being failed backup. Now I am getting 1password failed to create a backup: Error Domain=NSCoc...

Hi @sziselman,
I tried deleting the entire of the log folder, found at
~/Library/Logs/1Password/
and when I next relaunched 1Password the folder was recreated. If I delete the~/Library/Application Support/1Password 4/Watchtower/
folder it too was recreated on the next boot. Now one thing is when I tested this I was also ensuring 1Password mini was shut down by closing 1Password using the⌃⌘Q
keyboard shortcut. I didn't want 1Password mini to interfere at all.So the first thing I'd wonder is does a reboot of your machine help at all?
If it doesn't and assuming you still have either backup files in the
Backups
folder or aOnePassword.sqlite
file in yourData
folder we might guide you through the process of starting over and simply copying your vault back into a fresh copy.Let us know if the reboot resolves anything first though.

That did the trick. Thank you very much. You can teach an old dog a new trick.

Glad we could help get 1Password working properly again @sziselman
