1password app damaged

I cannot open my 1Password on my Mac because "the application file is damaged". When I try to reinstall it from the AppStore I am asked to pay $49.99. Since I already paid for it I do not want to pay again. Can you please help?

    Hi @cml44,

    The AgileBits Store and Mac App Store versions of 1Password for Mac are quite separate. I believe you're an AgileBits Store customer which means you would want to drag the copy of 1Password 5 from your /Applications/ folder to the Trash and download a fresh copy from our AgileBits Download page. Unfortunately there is no way to transfer an AgileBits Store licence to Apple's Mac App Store - the only way to use the Mac App Store version would be to purchase again.
