How do I get a key file for my 2nd computer? I don't know if I used appstore vs web to purchase.
I've written in about this before. I have no way to enter my license key string for 1password on my work computer. I don't know if I purchased my license via the App Store or the agile bits website. I may have purchased through both... I also don't know what email I used to purchase. The flow for requesting a license key file requires that I know this info. Please help. It's been months since I've been able to save passwords on my work computer, so I'm starting to use other password managers, and I'd really prefer to keep my passwords centralized, as I've already purchased 1password for my computer and my mobile devices and, other than the fact that I can't use the app anymore, I think it's a good product.

I'm sorry you're having this issue with your licensing for 1Password. We try to make this as simple as possible for our users but it can get confusing. :(
From your description it sounds as if you have a license to 1Password 2 or 3. I know this because starting from 1Password 4 we use a file and not a license string. It also would have been from the AgileBits webstore since you would not get a license number from the Mac App Store.
As for your license, do you have a list of possible email addresses you used to purchase your license? If you can email support+licenses@agilebits.com in regards to this or with the name or other information about your purchase, we can likely find your license information.
Unfortunately, if you only have a license for 1Password 2 or 3, you would not be able to unlock 1Password 6. There was a paid upgrade starting from 4 and then after that it was a free upgrade to 5 and 6. Do you still use 1Password 3 at home but installed 1Password 6 at work? You can upgrade you license by purchasing it at upgrade pricing here
