I have just updated to 6.2 on my Mac 10.11.4 and now getting the error "1Password is damaged and can't be opened". I have removed and rebooted and reinstalled and still get the error.

    Greetings @sbarter,

The steps you've performed are roughly what we would recommend trying but can I just ask you to confirm something for me please. Have you cleared your Downloads folder of any copies of the 1Password application and after rebooting downloaded a fresh copy from our AgileBits Download page?

Every so often we do see this error but in every instance in the past downloading a fresh copy resolves it. Please let us know if this makes any difference or not.

I resolved my issue by doing the following.

    1. Uninstalled 1Password (dragged to trash)
    2. Logged out of iCloud
    3. Logged out of App Store
    4. Deleted App Store Cache (com.apple.appstore)
    5. Rebooted
    6. Installed 1Password from App Store

    Greetings @sbarter,

I apologise, we've only ever seen that error in relation to the AgileBits Store version of 1Password for Mac, I think this is the first time I've seen the error with the Mac App Store. It's very unusual to get a damaged install from them but I'm glad you resolved it and thank you for posting the steps you found you needed to take. I would hope step 2 isn't required though as your iCloud should be quite separate from anything to do with the App Store, indeed they don't even have to be using the same Apple ID credentials.

I'm glad to hear things are working once more
