Cannot get out of "Resume Editing" on iOS (iPad) app.

So I was creating a new Cloak account using the Cloak app on my iPad. I generated a password and then converted it to a login item using the 1p app extension. I guess it wasn't saved since the cloak app went off and did its thing. When I tried to access the item on my iPhone it was missing, which lead me down the syncing rathole (I use Dropbox) but the real culprit appears to be that the item on my iPad is in the "resume editing" state. I can't seem to get it out of that state. I hit edit and save and it appear to work, but it doesn't sync and if I go back to the item again it is "Resume Editing" all over again.

Please advise.

PS All the help items below "How to find 1Password version" and "How to find extension version?" appear to be Mac-specific, not for iOS.

    Thanks for taking the time to write in about this difficulty. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "resume editing state"? If I edit an item (don't tap done), close 1Password by hitting the home button, and then relaunch 1Password I'm still in edit mode. I don't have to do anything to "resume" editing.

    If instead I close 1Password entirely (from the task switcher) then any changes I've made while editing (before hitting done) are lost.

    I haven't been able to find a scenario in which I'm prompted to "resume editing."

    Could you please clarify?

    Indeed the question about extension version only applies to our desktop products (as there is no separate installation for the extension on mobile).

    Hi Ben,

    This problem has resolved itself, although I'm still not 100% sure why it worked when it worked. As I stated above, I was in the process of creating a new login item using the Cloak VPN app which appears to have 1p integration of some kind. As soon as I created the account however I believe the Cloak VPN app took over and went to do some of its own processing. When I went to another device the new login item was not there.

    When I ran 1p on the original device and selected the note, instead of saying "Edit" it said "Resume Editing". When I clicked that it went to a standard editing mode. When clicking "Done" however, it did not go the the usual state, but went back to "Resume Editing" and it still would not sync through Dropbox. This happened at least twice. At some later time I somehow managed to get that login item saved and synced and now everything is normal. I'm sorry I don't have better step-by-step information on this, and it was a few days ago so my memory may be clouded.

    @Alexis_Layton I'm glad the item is now available on your other devices! Thanks for describing the issue; I wasn't able to recreate it on my iPhone, but having a general idea of what's happening will be helpful if other people encounter the same problem.
