Face ID failing and unreliable after update
Apologies if this issue has already been discussed elsewhere but the latest update to 1Password for iOS has introduced a bug where the first Face ID scan will fail when invoking 1P through Password A...

I do not know if this is the answer or not, but I will give my two cents.
No one besides this post has told me this nor have I researched it.
I too have noticed face ID acting more peculiar.
This is a wild guess.
In iOS in two different places you can find the (require attention for face id), now I do not know why Apple put it in two different places, but you can go to iOS settings and scroll down to (face id & passcode) and it is their or you can go to settings, scroll down to accessibility, face id (face id & passcode) and it is their as well.
Personally I think everybody should have this enabled for good reason.
What I think is going on is Apple in their last update has made it more sensitive.
So if your eyes are not looking at the camera or at top of front iPhone or iPad then face id will fail.
Personally if this is the case I like it, because it makes it work like it should have all along for security reasons.
So before if I used face id and barely looked at the camera it would still work a lot more than it should, so it was not as sensitive as you would think.
Now looking directly at the camera when face id happens it works great, but if I do not look at it directly more than before it causes a failure.
So it might take getting used too.
Let me know if anybody agrees or disagrees with my theory.
This is not just happening to 1Password so that tells you it is not 1Password this time. 😊
