how to separate family account entries
Three of us have been sharing a family membership account for several years. However, one member of the family now needs to have her own individual account, and would like to preserve those login/etc...

Hello nikadog0217! 👋
Thanks for reaching out! You're correct that your family member will need to create a new 1Password account of her own, add both accounts to the same 1Password app, and then move her items from her old account to the new account. Once she's confirmed that she's moved all of her items to her new account, you can then remove her from your 1Password Families membership.
We have a blog article that goes into more specific steps here: Parting ways: How to divide a shared 1Password account
First, she'll need to sign up for her own account. Then, to migrate her items to the new account, I recommend that she use 1Password 8 since it's the latest version of 1Password. She can install 1Password 8 on all devices using the following guide: Get the 1Password apps
These articles will help her to add both of her accounts to the app and move her items from the old account to the new account:
Once she's moved her items, she should check to make sure that she sees all of her items when she log in to her new 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app).Only after she's confirmed that she's moved all of her items and sees them on 1Password.com, you can remove her from your 1Password Families membership: Add and remove family members
I hope that helps.
