Salesforce passkey not working as security key or built in authenticator

Anyone else run into issues recently with Salesforce using a passkey from 1Password? I had a passkey registered as a security key in Salesforce, but it also worked as a built in authenticator. ...

If anyone else stumbles on this thread, support said they're aware of this issue and some users have told them its working in Firefox, but not Chrome. With no ETA on a potential fix.
