Support for Zen browser

Hello everyone!
Thank you all for the continued feedback! For security reasons, the 1Password desktop app will by default only connect to supported browsers such as Firefox, Chrome, Brave, Edge and Arc. If you're using a Mac then you can add Zen Browser as an additional browser to the desktop app:
- Open and unlock the 1Password for Mac desktop app.
- Click on 1Password next to the in the menu bar.
- Click Settings.
- Click Browser.
- Click Add Browser and choose your browser from the Applications folder.
We're not currently adding new supported browsers since that isn't a long-term and sustainable solution. The additional browsers feature is currently only available for the Mac. The team hopes to bring the custom browsers feature to 1Password on other platforms (like Windows) in the future.
For the time being, you may still be able to use 1Password in Zen Browser on your Windows PC but you'll need to unlock it separately from the desktop app using your account password.-Dave

The reason we haven’t added Zen Browser (or any other specific browser) is because manually supporting individual browsers isn’t a long-term solution. Instead, the team is working on a feature that will allow users to connect any browser they choose to 1Password. That way, everyone benefits, and we don’t have to add browsers one by one.

Hey 1P_Blake,
we are talking about a quick fix to make the community happy. It is really hard to understand that a company like 1Password is not capable of adding one browser entry to the list of trusted browsers in 7 months.
As someone else also mentioned, not having the third party browser feature on Windows is an issue that is open for over 2 years.
There is a severe lack of communication here about the concrete steps that were taken so far and a reason why something that is available on other (much smaller) platforms like MacOS is not becoming available for over 2 years. I really hope you can take this to the team internally and improve not only the communication but also how issues are prioritized. Having to wait for years for browser support in a world where new browsers appear every few months and are also changed regularly is not a viable approach.
