iCloud Sync / Free Trial / Browser Extensions
I am completely confused.
First, I downloaded the 1Password 4 from your webpage. But then I discovered that if I want iCloud to sync, I need to purchase 1Password directly from the apps store. I have several Apple devices. So, it seems like I would need the iCloud sync. I can't figure out how to remove 1Password 4 completely so I can get it from the Apple Apps store.
Second, I appear to have downloaded a 30 day free trial as it downloaded for free. I have no idea how to purchase 1Password at the end of the 30 day trial as nothing even alerted me that it was a free trial.
Third, I often use different browsers. I use Safari, Chrome, and Firefox at times. Can I download browser extension for all 3?

Hi @rebecka,
Thanks for taking the time to write in! I'm so sorry for the confusion here.

I have good news for you here! iCloud sync is currently available in the version of 1Password 4 that can be downloaded from our website. We do caution users that Apple has not officially agreed to support iCloud for apps sold outside of the Mac App Store, so there is a chance that this could change in the future, but we have no reason to believe at this time that Apple would decide to enforce this. So, if you would like to continue using the webstore version of 1Password 4, iCloud sync is available to you. (You can see all your sync options in Preferences > Sync).

iCloud is certainly not required with Apple devices. As an alternative to iCloud, Dropbox is available to keep your data in sync as well.
Please do let me know if you would like to switch from the webstore version of 1Password to the Mac App Store version though, and I can provide you with the steps.

If you decide to purchase 1Password 4 directly from us, you can do so on our website. You will receive information on how to update your license in 1Password after you have made the purchase. 1Password 4 is also available through the Mac App Store.

The 1Password extension for each browser is available by loading this page in each of the browsers you want to add the extension for. It will detect which browser you are using and offer the correct extension automatically.
I hope this helps to answer your questions, but we're here for you if you need anything further! :)
