Safari/Chrome Extension username/password fill action messes up the form for ICICI Bank website

Hi,

I have been able to fill in username/password in the ICICI Bank login page (https://infinity.icicibank.co.in/BANKAWAY?Action.RetUser.Init.001=Y&AppSignonBankId=ICI&AppType=corporate&abrdPrf=N) using 1-click action in 1Password Safari/Chrome extension for a long time. Starting yesterday, this 1-click action has started to break the form the gets sent to the bank and I get an error that complains about the user ID entered. When I checked with the bank, they confirmed they upgraded their online banking system in the last week or so. Since they disable 'paste' action, I now have to enter my long password manually. Is this something that you could fix in 1Password extension by looking at how their login page is implemented?

Thanks,
Prasad

    Hi Prasad ( @pcnarayana‌ ),

Unfortunately, if the site has disabled paste, we are not able to override it in the extension. For sites like this, where you may have to type your password in manually, I recommend looking into Diceware passwords. There's a description of this type of generated password in our blog post: Towards Better Master Passwords. Essentially, you can create a strong password that is also easier to remember (and type!) by using a word list and some dice. :)

I hope this helps, but we're here if you have any further questions!
