where is my license key for 1password 5
I had to reinstall my OS software on a mac. I am in the process of bringing back other applications. I do not have the license for 1PW5, so I contacted agile bits and got licenses for 3 and 4, but had to send an email for 5. I did so and no license. I asked to recend the email ( clicking a space, but no result.) I finally thought to look for my 1password folder and linked the program to the data and it works. But I still do not have a copy of the license. Do I need to have a copy, in case I have another computer glitch? If so how do I get it.,
Also, I never want password to create passwords. IS there a way to shut off this option so I am never asked about this?
Finally I think agile bits support sucks. It is not a cheap program, but there is now way go connect to a person. It took three tries to logon to this discussion. I have been spending 45 minutes getting 1password software running, I have not had near this difficult a problem when reinstalling other software by dragging it to my computer from a backup disk. And when I first upgraded to 1password 5, in trying to get it set up I found I had paid for it twice, and agile bits never notified me of this fact.

If that is the case you already have all you need because the licence for 1P4 is identical to that used by 1P5. It will licence both versions.

I see it's your first post here so you're probably unaware of just how responsive AgileBits is here on these forums. The level of support provided is exemplary.
Edit: Sorry there was part of your post to which I didn't reply:

AgileBits, like other companies, isn't going to stop you buying as multiple licences: you may actually want to do that. If you bought from the AgileBits store (as opposed to from the Mac App Store, which is run by Apple and nothing to do with AgileBits) I'm sure you'll find AgileBits willl refund any mistaken additional purchase.

If you have a license for 4 it is the same license for 5.
I would expect it to be up to you, not the developer, to make sure you did not buy twice.
Why don't you want 1PW to create passwords? It's more secure than making up your own.
The forum works well for support, if there are issue that need private and personal discussion the AgileBits staff, who monitor the forums very regularly and reply, will take matters to email. They find it is a faster method.

Hi @naplen,
I see in addition to posting here in the forums you also emailed us as well. Given you've done so I'll close this thread and we'll converse with you via email instead.
