Yes, my updater started crashing at beta 6. It was fine before that. I do have the beta checkbox checked and also have little snitch installed.

Hi @PBAdams,

So the intended behaviour after installing one of the 1Password 7 betas is that the preference for including betas was enabled. However we did notice that wasn't always happening when it should. If this is the cause you should be able to manually correct it by entering 1Password's preferences and switching to the Updates tab. In there tick the checkbox titled Include beta builds. Undoubtedly an update will ensure this is enabled in the correct scenarios but that won't help those on a slightly older version of the beta.

The current beta is BETA-6 so checking for anything new if you're running BETA-6 should say you're up to date at the moment. It's worth checking the setting I mentioned above though so that when BETA-7 is available that 1Password offers it.

I run it and a dialog flashes up quickly but clears and then nothing, I would expect a NO UPDATES found message since I am on the current build.

I have the same problem with 7.0b6 on 10.13.4 - the updater fails and I receive a crash report prompt.

I just installed 1Password 7 Version 7.0.BETA-6 (70000006) and ran into the "check for updates" crashing bug. Not sure if you're still looking for new reports or crash logs, but I saved my crash log if you want it. I did check the preferences for the "include beta builds" options (it wasn't set); I set the option to "on" and quit 1Password (and chose "completely quit 1Password from mini), and upon relaunching the problem still occurs (the updater crashes immediately when it runs). I checked and 1Password is installed in the Applications folder. Let me know if you need any more info from the saved crash log!

I have 1Password6 installed (from web, not Mac store). When I try to upgrade to Beta7 ("include betas" clicked), I get a message that says I'm already using the latest version. No crash, but no 1Password7 either.

This is intentional behavior as not everyone running 6 wants to or is able to run 7. Since it is not a free update for 6 for license users, installing 7 should be done via the downloads page directly.
