Provide additional information on the Devices list

In light of email received regarding versions that will be considered deprecated effective May 1, it would be helpful if the Linked to your Account device list on the My Profile view included the version info.  This would be helpful to both users and administrators alike.

  • Hello NCJayG! 👋

Thank you for the feedback! I can definitely see how having 1Password version information included in a user's profile would be useful and I've passed this request along to our team internally. For the time being, you can have your users check which version they're running by using this guide:

If you're an administrator of a 1Password Business organization then you can create a device report that can help you identify folks who are still using outdated versions of 1Password. Alternatively, our Events API has the ability to provide app version information to your SIEM appliance (if you're using one).

However the best way to track versions, for administrators, would be to use your MDM solution which would provide a source of truth for which version of 1Password (and other deployed apps) that a user is currently running on their device.
